With reWASD 6.6, we have seamlessly integrated the community search right into the reWASD software. You can now easily explore and discover configs shared by the reWASD community without leaving the application, making it even more convenient to find and try new profiles. It's quite easy to find the most suitable config for your device. Simply stay with your gamepad and navigate to the "Check community config" option. From there, you can explore the configs specifically tailored for the most popular games or simply type your query to find the config you need. Utilize the preview feature to ensure the config meets your requirements, and run it directly from the interface for a seamless experience.
We're excited to introduce squared sticks for virtual devices in the desktop version of reWASD. This feature allows for more precise control over virtual joystick movements, offering enhanced accuracy and responsiveness when using virtual devices. Users have the flexibility to adjust the squareness of the sticks using a customizable graph. Additionally, reWASD provides suggested "square" patterns for easy configs, ensuring a tailored experience based on user preferences.
Expanded Controller Support:
Starting from reWASD 6.6, you can establish a connection with Xbox One/S/X consoles through GIMX. Enjoy the flexibility of using your preferred controllers with your Xbox console. To use reWASD + GIMX Adapter with the Xbox, you will need to use the authorize gamepad - Xbox One, Xbox Elite, or Xbox Elite 2 gamepads.
New ESP32 Firmware Support: We are excited to announce new firmware for the ESP32 AtomU, ATOM Lite and LILYGO TTGO T-Display. Now you can unleash the full potential of this device with reWASD.
"Hide from Windows Store applications (affecting all slots)" option added in preferences. New option permits hiding the physical gamepad from all applications downloaded from the Windows Store.
Introduced the ability to group DPAD and XYBA buttons into a single unit for the Gamepad layout. This feature enables users to press two adjacent buttons simultaneously with one finger, providing improved convenience and ease of use.
The Gamepad layout now automatically changes its button icons to match the type of virtual gamepad configured in the applied settings. For example, if the virtual gamepad is set to use triangles and circles instead of XYBA, the button icons on the Gamepad layout will reflect this change, ensuring visual consistency and clarity.
Now you can combine Keyboard and Mouse controls on the same page. Note that this option is available during the controller creation process. With this update, you can seamlessly switch between keyboard and mouse inputs within a single page, enhancing the overall usability and flexibility of the reWASD Junior software.
Introducing Smart Shift for the keyboard, a new feature that simplifies typing text.
In the latest update, several issues have been resolved, including the Azeron Cyro Wheel, the behavior of the DS4 touchpad and Mobile Controller touchpad, Flydigi Apex 2 detection, and the hiding of Azeron Xbox 360 on some systems.
We would also like to inform you about a change in our trial policy. To ensure that new users can experience the latest functions of reWASD, we have implemented a modification. Starting from this version (reWASD 6.6), the trial activation for features or the basic license will be available only on the latest version of reWASD. We appreciate your understanding in this matter as we strive to provide the best experience for all users.
