1.1 Acceptance of Terms
1.1.1 These terms of use ("Terms") constitute a binding legal agreement between (a) Disc Soft Limited, and “AVB Disc Soft", SIA (collectively and individually “Disc Soft" with references to "us," "we," "our" or "reWASD Team" being construed accordingly), Room 1203, 12/F, Tower 3, China Hong Kong City, 33 Canton Road, Tsimshatsui, Hong Kong, and (b) you, the user (with references to "you" or "your" being construed accordingly). These terms apply to your use of the reWASD software and any associated services ("Software"). By installing, accessing, or using the reWASD software, its services and configs, you signify your acceptance of this agreement.
1.1.2 We place great importance on respecting your privacy and the information you provide while using the reWASD software. Our Privacy Policy governs the collection and use of information through the reWASD software. By using the software, you consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information as described in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into and is an integral part of this agreement. 1.2 Applicable Terms and Agreements
1.2.1 All use of the reWASD software is subject to your acceptance of the applicable Terms of Use, End-User License Agreement (EULA), and other legal terms delivered with, included in, or presented in connection with the software. If you do not agree to the applicable terms, do not install, access, or use the reWASD software or related services.
1.3 Acceptance of Revisions
1.3.1 You are bound by the version of these Terms in effect at the time you first use the reWASD software. These Terms may be updated or revised from time to time. In the event of any significant updates or revisions, we will provide notification to you. Therefore, we recommend that you review the Terms whenever you access or use the software, especially after receiving an update notification, even if you have previously reviewed them.
1.4 Finality of Use
1.4.1 Purchases and use of the reWASD software are generally non-refundable, except as explicitly described in the Refund Policy applicable to your purchase.
2.1 In these Terms of Use, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them below:
Account: Refers to a registered user profile associated with the reWASD Software and services through https://www.rewasd.com.
Advanced Features: Extended functionalities within the reWASD Software that provide enhanced customization and control capabilities.
Basic License: A legacy lifetime license that granted access to essential remapping functionality. This definition applies to the older licensing model previously available for reWASD.
Community: Refers to interactive spaces where Users can engage with others, share experiences, and reWASD configs. It is located at https://www.rewasd.com/community.
Config or Configuration: Refers to customized settings, profiles, or configurations created by the User within the reWASD Software to modify the functionality and behavior of input devices and game controllers.
Feedback: Refers to any comments, suggestions, or feedback provided by Users about the reWASD Software and Services.
Legacy License: A license type available for purchase under previous reWASD licensing models. Legacy Licenses, including Basic Licenses and licenses with Advanced Features, continue to grant access according to the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
Lifetime Access (also referred to as “All-In Lifetime Access”) :A one-time purchase plan granting ongoing access to reWASD Software on the number of devices specified by the selected plan.
Official online store / Online Store / Official Store: Refers to the store operated by Disc Soft through https://rewasd.com, where Users can purchase access plans.
Privacy Policy: Refers to the privacy policy of Disc Soft, governing the collection, use, and disclosure of user data. It can be accessed at https://rewasd.com/privacy.
Refund: Refers to reimbursement of funds provided to the User for a purchase made through the reWASD website, subject to the terms and conditions of the Refund Policy applicable to the purchase.
Revoke / Revocation: Refers to the process of removing an active device assignment or activation from a specific system, making the associated access slot available for use on another device.
reWASD / reWASD Advanced Edition / Advanced Edition: The full edition of the reWASD Software that includes the complete set of supported remapping functionality and Advanced Features.
reWASD Basic / reWASD Basic Edition / Basic Edition / Basic: A separate simplified edition of the reWASD Software focused on essential remapping functionality and selected supported features.
Services: Refers to any related features, functionalities, or offerings made available in connection with the reWASD Software.
Software / reWASD Software : Refers to software provided by Disc Soft, including reWASD and/or reWASD Basic, together with related updates, upgrades, editions, and associated services, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Subscription: A legacy recurring payment plan previously offered for reWASD Software access and related features. Existing subscriptions may continue to operate according to the terms active at the time of purchase or renewal.
Trial Period: The designated duration allowing users to assess reWASD Software functionality and compatibility before committing to an Access Plan. The Trial Period spans 7 days and provides access to all features, allowing users to evaluate the software across up to two devices.
User / You: Refers to any individual or entity accessing, using, or installing the reWASD Software and Services, and accepting these Terms of Use.
3.1 Acceptable Use
3.1.1 You agree to use the reWASD software and its services in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms of Use.
3.1.2 You shall not engage in any activity that:
Violates or infringes upon the rights, policies, or rules of third parties, including other users, game developers, publishers, or platform providers.
Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
Interferes with or disrupts the functioning of the reWASD software, its services, or associated systems.
Attempts to gain unauthorized access to the software or any related data or information.
3.1.3 You are solely responsible for your actions and the content you upload, share, or distribute through the reWASD software and services. We reserve the right to remove content or take action against users who violate these Terms of Use or engage in conduct deemed inappropriate, harmful, or unlawful.
3.2 Account Responsibility
3.2.1 If you create an account on rewasd.com to use the reWASD software, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. This account contains your user settings, access plans, legacy licenses (if applicable), and payment information.
3.2.2 You must not share your account information, including your username and password, with others. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately.
3.2.3 In the event you purchase reWASD and/or reWASD Basic access and do not have an existing account on rewasd.com, an account will be created automatically for you. You will receive all the necessary access details, including a link to set your password and activate account, via email. Please note that we do not store passwords for security reasons.
3.3 Communication and Feedback
3.3.1 You may provide feedback, suggestions, or comments about the reWASD software and services. We appreciate your input, but please be aware that we may use your feedback without any obligation to compensate you for it.
3.3.2 Any communication or feedback you provide should not contain any confidential or proprietary information, and you agree that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
4.1 Access Plans and Licensing Models
4.1.1 reWASD Software primarily operates under a one-time purchase model that grants Lifetime Access. Legacy subscription plans remain available only for existing subscribers and are no longer offered to new customers. reWASD Basic is available exclusively as a Lifetime Access product.
4.1.2 reWASD currently supports the following access and licensing models, depending on when the access was originally purchased:
Lifetime Access: A one-time purchase model granting ongoing access to reWASD Software on the number of devices specified by the selected plan.
Legacy Subscription: A recurring subscription model available only to existing subscribers and no longer offered to new customers. Legacy subscriptions remain active under the subscription terms in effect at the time of purchase or renewal unless canceled or terminated.
Legacy License: A previous licensing model that granted access to specific reWASD functionality and feature combinations available at the time of purchase.
4.1.3 Access to reWASD Software requires authorization through the reWASD account associated with the applicable access plan, subscription, or license.
4.2 Legacy Licensing
4.2.1 Legacy Licenses refer to license types previously available for purchase under older reWASD licensing models. These licenses, including Basic Licenses and Advanced Features purchased separately or in combination, remain valid and continue to function according to the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
4.2.2 Legacy Licenses continue to provide access to the functionality and Advanced Features included in the license at the time of purchase. Newer Advanced Features introduced in later reWASD releases may not be included in Legacy Licenses.
4.2.3 Users with Legacy Licenses may continue using their licenses indefinitely under the terms in effect at the time of purchase. Users who wish to access newer Advanced Features or additional functionality may choose to purchase or upgrade to a currently available Lifetime Access plan.
4.2.4 Legacy Licenses do not grant access to the Basic Edition of reWASD Software.
4.3 Advanced Features
4.3.1 Advanced Features are extended functionalities within the reWASD Advanced Edition that provide enhanced customization, automation, and control capabilities.
4.3.2 Availability of Advanced Features depends on the licensing model or access plan associated with the user account.
4.3.3 Certain Advanced Features may not be available under Legacy Licenses and may require a currently available Lifetime Access plan.
4.4 Pricing and Feature Adjustments
4.4.1 Disc Soft reserves the right to adjust pricing, product offerings, licensing models, and future feature availability for reWASD, reWASD Basic, and related products in response to evolving user needs and market conditions.
4.4.2 Legacy License holders retain access to the functionality and Advanced Features included in their license at the time of purchase. New Advanced Features introduced in future reWASD releases are not included in Legacy Licenses and may require a currently available Lifetime Access plan.
4.5 Trial Period
4.5.1 The reWASD Software offers a Trial Period for users to evaluate the software’s compatibility and features before purchasing Lifetime Access. The trial provides full access to all features included in the edition being evaluated and is available only on the latest released version of the software..
4.5.2 The Trial Period is considered activated upon the first authorization of the reWASD Software on a PC using the user’s reWASD account.
4.5.3 The Trial Period lasts for 7 days, during which users can experience all functionality available within the edition being evaluated.
4.5.4 During the Trial Period, users may use the software on up to two (2) PCs, allowing them to assess its performance across multiple setups.
4.5.5 Users are encouraged to fully utilize the Trial Period before purchasing access to reWASD Software, as certain purchases may become non-refundable in accordance with the applicable Refund Policy once activated.
4.5.6 No extensions to the Trial Period are available. If the Trial Period expires and the user does not purchase an applicable access plan, access to the software and its features may become restricted.
4.6 Acceptance of Licensing Terms
4.6.1 By using reWASD and its associated features, users acknowledge and accept these Terms of Use and the End-User License Agreement, whether under a subscription, lifetime access plan, or a Legacy License.
5.1 reWASD Community
5.1.1 The reWASD Community serves as a platform where users can store and share their configurations created within reWASD. It provides a space for users to interact, exchange experiences, and enhance their reWASD usage. The official reWASD Community can be accessed at: reWASD Community.
5.1.2 To become a part of the reWASD community, users are required to create an account at this link. This account is separate from the main rewasd.com account used for software access and licensing (similar to the account system used on daemon-tools.cc) and does not provide access to licensing or purchase information
5.2 reWASD Configs
5.2.1 A config refers to customized settings, profiles, or configurations created by the user within the reWASD Software. These configurations are designed to modify the functionality and behavior of input devices and game controllers. Config files use the .rewasd extension..
5.2.2 After uploading configs to the Community, they may undergo moderation. We reserve the right to remove configs or accounts if the nickname, config description, profile cover, or related content contains hate speech, pornography, unlawful content, or direct encouragement to violate principles of fair play.
5.2.3 Users are responsible for the content of their configs, whether distributed within or outside the reWASD Community, regardless of whether such configs are distributed free of charge or for payment. By creating and using configs, users are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable game rules and principles of fair play.
6.1 Purchases of access to reWASD Software made directly through our Official Store are generally non-refundable once activated. Users are encouraged to utilize the free Trial Period to evaluate the software before completing a purchase.
6.2 Refund requests may be considered only if the purchased access to reWASD Software has not been activated and the request is made within 7 days of purchase. If these conditions are met, please contact our Support team to initiate the refund process. Refunds are issued at Disc Soft’s sole discretion.
6.3 Disc Soft accepts refund claims only for purchases made directly through our Official Store. Refund requests for purchases made through third-party vendors are subject to the respective reseller’s refund policies.
6.4 Disc Softs’s financial liability for refunds is limited to the total amount received from the user and may exclude taxes imposed under applicable laws or additional fees charged by payment providers.
6.5 Refund Limitations
6.5.1 Incompatibility of the software with certain games or third-party applications due to developer restrictions, anti-cheat systems, or related policies does not qualify as a valid reason for a refund. Users are encouraged to utilize the Trial Period to evaluate compatibility before purchasing access to reWASD Software.
6.5.2 Purchasing the reWASD Software using a regional discount intended for another country is considered fraudulent. We reserve the right to refuse refund requests for orders made using such regional discounts.
6.5.3 Alterations in pricing, including temporary promotional offers, do not constitute valid grounds for refund requests.
6.5.4 Failure to utilize the Trial Period before purchasing access to reWASD Software does not constitute a valid reason for a refund.
6.5.5 A change of mind or dissatisfaction with the software after a period of use does not qualify as a valid reason for a refund.
6.6 Refunds are granted only under the conditions outlined in Section 6.2. Requests falling outside these conditions may be declined at Disc Softs’s discretion.
7.1 Revocation is a process that allows users to free up a device slot within the limits of the purchased access plan, making it available for use on another system.
7.2 Revocation is intended primarily for situations such as system reinstalls, hardware upgrades, or temporary changes in the devices in use. It is not intended for frequent or permanent migrations between systems.
7.3 Each reWASD Access plan limits the number of PCs on which the software can be used simultaneously. If you need to switch to a new device, you must log in to reWASD on that system and either activate an available slot or free up one of the occupied ones.
7.4 Disc Soft reserves the right to suspend or restrict reWASD plans at its discretion if there is suspicion of unfair, improper, or abusive use of the revocation process.
8.1 We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the reWASD Software and related services at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activities, or used the Service for malicious purposes.
8.2 Reasons for user account suspension may include, but are not limited to:
Violating the terms of use outlined in this document.
Selling or renting accounts or legacy licenses that are already in use by others.
Impersonating a reWASD official or representative.
Engaging in suspicious, abusive, or fraudulent activity related to access plans, revocations, refunds, or license usage.
Participating in unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious activities associated with the use of reWASD Software, including deliberate violations of applicable game or platform rules.
8.3 Disc Soft reserves the right to limit the information disclosed regarding account suspensions, restrictions, or terminations where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or abuse prevention purposes.
9.1 These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Disc Soft regarding your use of the reWASD Software and associated services. By accessing or using the reWASD Software, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use.

Disc Soft reserves the right to limit or refuse support services in cases involving abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior toward support representatives.
