reWASD Mobile 3.0 - Remap on the Fly
reWASD Junior has grown up and evolved into reWASD Mobile - a fully featured companion app that now lets you remap on the fly, manage configs, and control every aspect of your setup directly from your phone.
The Config Editor was redesigned from scratch to make the configuration process faster, clearer, and easier to use. With this major update, you can now adjust mappings, activators, and combos in real time without leaving your game.
We’ve brought to mobile nearly all the functionality of the desktop app - including Shift Layers, Sub-configs, Shortcuts, and Output Device management. You can also remap entire groups such as Sticks, Gyro, or DPAD at once, tweak Response Curves and Zones, or fine-tune press timing for activators and apply your config from every place of the app.
And for the first time, iOS and Android versions are now functionally synchronized, so both platforms deliver the same powerful experience and consistent workflow.

Expanded Nintendo support and even more devices
This update brings a major leap in Nintendo compatibility. reWASD 9.2 adds support for the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, Joy-Con 2 (when connected via the Charging Grip), and the Nintendo Switch 2 GameCube Controller - all currently available over USB connection only.
At this stage, Bluetooth connection is not yet supported, so Joy-Con 2 controllers can’t be connected for remapping separately. When used via the Charging Grip, both controllers operate as a single device integrated into the reWASD environment. Please note that the rear GR/GL buttons are not available for remapping in this mode, and rumble is currently not supported on any of the new Nintendo devices.
Beyond Nintendo, this release also adds support for the Azeron Keyzen and the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Controller (wireless connection only), expanding the list of officially recognized devices and offering even more ways to personalize your gaming setup.

Stable compatibility restored for certain games
We’ve rebuilt and refined our Compatibility Mode, and after extensive testing, reWASD now works properly with titles that previously caused conflicts. While Compatibility Mode is now stronger than ever, we still recommend enabling it only if you experience issues.
Another long-awaited fix — we’ve completely redesigned how reWASD interacts with the mouse input layer. The new Enhanced Mouse Mute (available in Preferences) refines mouse handling, delivering better responsiveness and compatibility with certain games.
Please note: when this option is enabled and the config applied, it affects all Shifts and may conflict with other third-party remappers.
We strongly recommend disabling other remapping tools while using Enhanced Mouse Mute, and reWASD in general, to prevent possible conflicts.

Minor improvements and fixes that make everything work just right
reWASD 9.2 introduces a few small but useful enhancements. We’ve added support for AZERTY, Dvorak, and QWERTZ keyboard layouts, expanding accessibility for users with regional input preferences. A new “None” option has been added for grouped devices, making it easy to remove a device from a group without fully ungrouping everything.
We’ve also resolved several issues that affected stability and device behavior.
The Toggle Gyro On/Off, Turn Gyro On/Off commands now work correctly on grouped devices as well as within the Radial Menu. An issue where the Gamepad Back Buttons tab disappeared when grouping a Mobile Controller with another device has also been fixed. We’ve addressed problems with Shortcuts and KeyPad combinations - the controller button filter now works as intended, and KeyPad shortcuts that included mouse or keyboard buttons no longer cause conflicts when used on the physical keyboard within a group.
This update also includes numerous stability and performance refinements, ensuring a smoother and more reliable experience across all setups.
