Activators, Shortcuts, Shift mode, controller, keyboard and mouse macro sequences are now available even for those who do not have a gamepad at all. With reWASD 5.0, we bring all top-notch features to keyboards and mice.
There are a few amazing things possible now. First, you can emulate controller with keyboard and mouse if you want to play console games with more preferable devices. Second, you can assign comprehensive mouse and keyboard macro sequences to any button of your input device. Third, you can disable a keyboard key or side mouse button to prevent an accident tap.
Create a mix of the devices you have and apply a single one config to several controllers at once. Let’s say, you can group PS3 Navigation controller and mouse to use the same Shift mode for both devices at once. You press a mouse button, a new layout is activated on the controller.
If you have two similar controllers, you can hide them both and replace with a single one virtual gamepad. In this case, two people can play as one. If you have a child who is new to video gaming, you can use the second physical gamepad to help him beat the difficult level. If you just need the same configuration to be applied to both devices, group them and adjust only one sub-config. The second device will get the same functionality.
Together with huge and crazy features mentioned above, we have added a few other improvements we think you will love. First, now you can record controller combos right from your device just like previously it was implemented for keyboard macro. Also, you can add even longer pause (24-day-long actually) and set more iterations (up to 9999).
DualShock 4 LED is under reWASD control since the latest release. Right now, we use it to inform you that the config is applied (with light creme color) and that Shift mode is activated (with the corresponding color).
